Sergio Perez and Esteban Ocon have both been quizzed about their future with 2019 plans set to be formalised this summer.
The current Force India duo have been team-mates since the start of the 2017 season, with Perez acting as the elder statesman having first joined the team in 2014.
Perez is usually one of the names circulating in Formula 1’s rumour mill, but this year he seems content to extend his stay with Force India.
“I think this team has a lot of potential,” Perez told Sky Sports.
“I’ve been here five years and we’ve had an incredible amount of success. The last two years we were the best of the rest and we have the possibility to do so this year.
“Right now we’re not having the best time competitive-wise, but I fully believe in this team and would be happy to stay for longer here.”
Ocon, meanwhile, was a little more non-committal as he awaits confirmation from Mercedes about their driver line-up.
“So far I’m happy with my position in Force India,” Ocon added.
“It’s been a dream working with this team, we have a really good relationship with everyone working at the factory, and I’m very happy to be here.
“Totally dedicated to this year already, so we will see the future later.”
Force India have struggled to reach the lofty heights of recent years so far this season, with just one double-points finish to their name in 2018 compared to the seven they had at this stage last year.
